Luca Baude, the founder of Berlin à la Carte, is a certified Berlin tour guide, historian, and native Berliner. Born in a multilingual household and educated in a French school in Berlin, he is fully fluent in French, German, and English, and regularly guides international guests in all three languages.

After studying History and Cultural Sciences, Luca completed a professional training to become a certified Berlin guide according to the European Quality Standard (DIN EN 15565). He has been working full-time as a guide for many years, offering in-depth, flexible, and well-researched tours tailored to each visitor’s interests.

Deeply rooted in Berlin’s cultural life, Luca is actively involved in the city’s music scene as a musician and festival organizer, with a strong connection to Berlin’s electronic music culture. He is also a passionate foodie, always exploring local markets, street food, and neighborhood favorites beyond the usual tourist spots.

With a background as a home brewer and a Certified Beer Server (CBS), Luca brings expert knowledge of beer culture and brewing, including access to select breweries for behind-the-scenes visits and tastings.
